KidLit College Crit-N-Chats Lead Authors to Contracts

I am always thrilled to learn when our Crit-N-Chats lead to publication. We've had many. Quite a few writers had their manuscripts requested following our critique from publishers like Little, Brown, Macmillan, Charlsbridge, Chronicle Books, Sleeping Bear Books and Penguin. During our most recent session, we had two writers announce that their book submissions sent in following a webinar are now being considered. We had another in a bidding war between publishers. How very nice is that? Just yesterday, I learned of another sale, following a critique, to Stephanie Pitts at Penguin-Putnam.

I am thrilled for these writers. It's so awesome when hard work meets opportunity. There's nothing better. Just a huge open CONGRATS to these authors. (You know who you are.) We are celebrating with you!

Stephanie Pitts's Picture Book Crit-N-Chats now open

Stephanie Pitts, Editor, Penguin-Putnam, will be taking a limited number of PICTURE BOOK ONLY Crit-N-Chats for her August 12th Chat session, which is set to start at 11 AM EST. Her manuscript submissions are due on or before July 24, and the chat session registration is now live for you to select your chat spot upon registration.

Can it get any better?
